A change in one aspect of readiness will definitely affect the other domain.It will be a waste of time and futile exercise for one to teach /coach a person who is not ready to receive the contents of the day's work. The preparation for readiness should have long term,intermediate and immediate objectives.The fulfillment of these objectives will make an athlete ready in a state of personality,physical condition,and psychological development/readiness for winning the game /sports.

INDIAN TENNIS -SINGLES PLAY STRATEGY
A PROUD TIME FOR INDIAN TENNIS:See in a major event like US open we have have half a dozen players enduring/sustaining to the second week of play, mostly in doubles, The happy news is that the playing skills of this players are as good as any top players in the world,one may have to realize and understand the reasons, why these players are not doing well in singles.I feel/think that the first reason may be the aspect of exposure to futures and challengers tournaments at the appropriate stages of tournament participation.I think the corporate bodies can adopt players for the tour expenses.
The second and the foremost reason is that these players lack in on court movement skills to cover the entire court in singles play,This can be overcome by using suitable track and field coaching know how with appropriate modifications.DO YOU AGREE?

CARRYING ANGLE IN HUMAN LOCOMOTION AND SPORTS TALENT SPOTTING:
Females hang and swing their arms in a partially supinated with a oblique angle from the elbow,this is called the ''carrying angle''.This angle is more from vertical among the females with relatively more wider hips than their shoulders.
Coaches and sports trainers should be able to assess/foresee this factor at the early childhood and select and motivate children genetically endowed with lesser carrying angle for their respective sports. This factor enables them to be more efficient in their locomotion by reducing/eliminating eccentric thrust of the arm swing in every stride of movement.This bio-mechanical factor helps in all the sports events,which includes the tennis ground strokes also.

EFFECTIVE COACH:Players who have respect for their elders,teachers,coaches and parents will show an enormous amount of confidence and commitment to the cause,They will be ready to risk, and quick to take up new ventures and responsibilities which will ultimately end in development.In reciprocity, coaches should also should show more and more commitment not only to the sports/game/event, but also to their day to day life and may have to guide them assist them in their personal welfare,growth and achievement of every player,Such coaches will be more effective and successful in imparting their skills and knowledge.

PLAYING SURFACE FRICTION AND SLIPPAGE-ADAPTATION : Playing surface friction and slippage properties and the type of sole in the shoes interact to generate the level of dynamic balance/equilibrium during the match play situations.Parents,players may have to choose the right type of shoes'/soles which suits the surface of play.Soon I believe shoes with playing surface/Tennis specific motor fitness ratings will come to market on a premium price.
More surface friction leads to better stability and more strain to the weight bearing joints due to the acyclic[open skill] nature of competitive tennis. Lesser the friction lesser the stability and more loss of balance during competitive play.
Quick to the surface adaptation will be safer for the player during competition.The shoes they wear should be able to transmit the right feel of the surface to the neuro-motor balancing in an acyclic,dynamic competitive Tennis movement situation.
COACHING POINT: A series of micro-stepping exercises with the appropriate shoes and surface may enable tennis players' to adapt faster to a variety of playing surfaces.

PRE- EVENT ROUTINE OR A STATE OF ''NIRVAN'': Athletes and sports persons prefer to have their own pre- event routine besides their warm up,stretching etc,some athletes prefer to lie down for a moment.Some others may prefer to move around and perform some rituals like combing their hair or verifying their shoe laces etc.Their routines will help them to concentrate for the event.Yet some others may prefer to keep their mind away from the contest to get a complete relaxation before the event. This kind of detachment is required for excellent performance.Especially when there is a tough competition the winner would be the person who can attain a state of ''NIRVAN'' and detach himself from the out comes of the competition but still performs the sequence of tasks correctly.

OFF SEASON TRAINING
OFF SEASON TRAINING: We are biological organisms with a persistent need for activity and exercises of some kind like jogging,running,swimming,cycling etc.The motor qualities like strength, speed,endurance flexibility are the by products of demanding,deliberate and vigorous physical activities.A sedentary man who avoids any type of physical activities/exercise may lead to muscular atrophy and degeneration of muscles.To avoid this happening in an athletes'body, off season training is advised.It is a system of training/combination of games/exercises one may have to do while not in active competition.Depending upon the bio-mechanical/physiological need and motor requirements which are required for his/ her main event one may have to choose appropriate set of activities.A middle distance runner may take to jogging,A weight lifter /jumper/throwers may play some basket ball,hand ball. Sprinters may take up quick reaction games like badminton etc. Off season work out's duration,intensity may vary according to the need and nature of the individual's main game/sport.A tennis player may take up a combination of games like table tennis,badminton,squash,volleyball,swimming etc to keep him fit and active.
