Asok kumar was a master’s student in physical education 2006-08 batch with an intercollegiate potential in Badminton skills. He came under me for his tennis specialization, he was creative, hard working and diligent and had a drive to take up responsibility and hails from very moderate family background.
He has spend a very moderate sum of Rs-50000/-[less than 1000 US $] to convert his friend’s paddy field in to three clay tennis courts at a place 8kms away from Vellore town limits., and his inaugural tournament has attracted more than 150 entries. He was so emotional and sentimental to name the center as ‘’Prince’’ Tennis Center. The observation is India is changing and there is a lot of scope for investment in private recreation.
