PLAYING SURFACE FRICTION HOW WE CAN MANAGE IT

         Surface friction between the playing surface and your shoe's sole may have to be maintained to a level of OPTIMUM so that friction and slippage factors may not create nagative outcomes .Pivotability of your ball/toe of the foot is vital,while you follow through during your stroke play, as well as during sudden change in direction of movement.Too much friction  may harm your joints in particular knee joint .Too much slippage may end in loss of balence and result in a  fall.

         By choosing the right type of shoes a player can reduce this negative outcomes,further it can be reduced by maintaining an element of slippage with in the shoes between the foot soles and the shoe's inner sole surface lining.

        By maintaining a good level of general fitness and in particular in the lower extremities quadricep,hamstring,gastrocenemious groups.as well as at the weight bearing joints of the foot.This can be achieved by systematic process of microstepping exercises over period of time.`
     
       Often players fall a prey to this bad effect and over  a period of time with out realizing the cause and effect situation and will end in poor AMORTIZATION and subsequent loss in speed of movement and loss in over all decline in ranking.In some cases joints may shift in to LAXITY and and subsequent ligamental injuries too.

        Due to the biomechanical,ergonomic, exercise physiological and strategic movement,duration, properties of these events, games,may augment the winning edge of a tennis player, provided if he /she trains the following sports also from the early stages of tennis training,and later on can be tapered or with on and off engagement may support a professional tennis player by giving him a cutting edge in winning a point.

SHIFT OF REAR LEG,MERITS AND DEMERITS


TENNIS SERVICE SEQUENCE, REAR LEG SHIFT.
REALLY WHAT ARE THE MERITS /DEMERITS.?
1,Stability is the prime importance before a throwing impact[service action is basically from a bio-mech point of view a throw.]
2.All the other aspects may be based on this factor,but still we can discuss ,reduction in area of supporting base may affect the[ EFFECTIVENESS OF SERVICE.]Please note there is a combination of several factors which makes a service effective.and this was discussed earlier.
3.Neuro-muscular instability caused by the shift may adversely affect the power,accuracy and spin factors of the service to delivered.
4.Instability CAUSED BY THE SHIFT may affect the quality of his capasity to face the service return ball if it comes back to his foot directly. Still we can keep listing these kind of several factors.
MERITS
To my best of ability in tthis analysis, few millimeters of height, its presumed to gain by the rear leg shift. during the impact is not a siginificant factor .We may need an extensive emphirical evidence to attribute this to effectiveness, EFFECTIVENESS FACTOR IS THE ONE SERVICE ,SENT TO OPPONENT'S WEAKNESS.
HOW TO FIX IT.

DECLINE IN PERFORMANCE --HOW TO FIX IT


Due to the acyclic nature,using extreme grip pattern,surface friction,insufficient rest in between competition results in changes in the body,anterio-posterior,medio-lateral,changes in posture, lack of strength of muscle groups,leads to injury proneness,break in kinetic chain of movement,or a decline in performance in the long run. One[player/coach] may have to  understand and study the situation carefully from  a multi-disciplinary angle and tackle it. Often this is not happening with many players which results in early exits from top level competition,Some times this is happening with top ranked player of a country SAD u see, to see the level of coaching education,implimentation,kind of situation.
